Prefers coniferous forests and mountainous areas. Active at dusk and night. Feeds on hares and small mammals.

Stewed Siberian Lynx with Mushrooms (Slow braising)
Tender meat with forest aroma
1. Cut meat into cubes and brown until golden.
2. Add onion, mushrooms, sour cream, and braise for 2 hours over low heat.
3. Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
Roasted Siberian Lynx with Herbs (Roasting)
Aromatic and juicy meat
1. Rub meat with garlic, thyme, and salt.
2. Roast at 180°C for 1.5 hours, basting occasionally.
3. Serve with grilled vegetables.
