Poisonous, do not consume. Not popular as an edible mushroom due to rapid decay. Used in some cuisines fresh.
Cap 2–5 cm, gray, initially bell-shaped, then dissolving. Stem white, thin, fragile, up to 7 cm long.
Grows on nutrient-rich soil, often on manure or compost Found in spring and summer in parks, gardens, and forests
Harvest young mushrooms before cap starts to dissolve. Use quickly after picking due to rapid decomposition.
Carefully clean from dirt and substrate remnants. Not recommended for long storage due to rapid decay. Do not consume.
