July: Intense feeding. Flounder actively hunts in nutrient-rich waters.

Safe when handled. Highly valued in France, Spain, and Italy as a delicacy. Often served in fine dining restaurants.
Inhabits Eastern Atlantic and Mediterranean Sea. Almost round body, left-eyed flatfish. Feeds on small fish, crustaceans, mollusks.
