Poses no danger to humans whatsoever. Among the Maasai, hunting gazelle was a rite of passage. Hide used for clothing and belts. Meat consumed during tribal festivals and rituals.
Inhabits East African savannahs — from Kenya to Tanzania. Prefers open areas with short grass. Often grazes near Thomson’s gazelles and zebras.

Excellent eyesight — approach from a great distance. Use natural cover and shrubbery. Most effective during dawn and dusk.

Dense meat holds spice flavor well
1. Slice meat into steaks, rub with spices and oil.
2. Grill or sear 3–4 min per side.
3. Serve with vegetables or hot sauce.
African Gazelle with Beans (Braising)
Meat combined with beans and spices
1. Brown meat and onions.
2. Add beans, tomatoes, spices and a bit of water.
3. Simmer on low for about 1 hour.
