July: Young gazelles become more active. Grant's gazelles migrate actively in search of new pastures.
Poses no danger to humans whatsoever. Among the Maasai, hunting gazelle was a rite of passage. Hide used for clothing and belts. Meat consumed during tribal festivals and rituals.
Inhabits East African savannahs — from Kenya to Tanzania. Prefers open areas with short grass. Often grazes near Thomson’s gazelles and zebras.
