✅ Mushroom foraging is not a characteristic tradition of the Polynesian islands. There are no widely known public restrictions on foraging for personal consumption in the wild, but the ecosystems are fragile, and collecting should be minimal.

Agaricus bisporus var. cremini Decreased activity, but still found in the wild. Pleurotus sapidus Fruiting weakens, but mushrooms can still be found. Pleurotus pulmonarius Activity begins to decrease.
